This special formulation - with its paste-like consistency - is sealed in the coronal portion of the pulp chamber, whitening the tooth from the inside out. Prior to placing Opalescence Endo, a glass ionomer MUST BE PLACED to the level of the CEJ to prevent peroxide from entering the pulp canals.
